Issues around housing and homelessness are one of the issues that armed forces veterans commonly face after they resettle. These can be compounded by other challenges such as mental health issues, PTSD, difficulty securing employment and relationship issues. Veterans HQ who support veterans in the Liverpool City Region are now piloting the course with the people they support.
Many armed forces veterans have little experience of managing a tenancy and managing the responsibilities of paying bills. With a very practical approach, the Resettlement Passport provides a structured approach to give people the information they need to manage money and sustain a tenancy successfully.
For services supporting veterans the course provides and up to date resource that can be used flexibly around the needs of the people they are working with. courses
